What should you look for when hiring a videographer?

When searching for a videographer it is important to review their quality, pricing, and level of production. Look at their experience, past work, client reviews, and references. Also, find out if they have proper credentials such as a Certificate of Insurance (COI) and a Drone certification, as those are extremely popular these days.

What do you think is most important?

I believe that overall quality is the most important whether it is a corporate promotional ad, wedding trailer, or mitzvah montage. Of course, pricing is always a factor, but going with the least expensive videographer may not get a client the result they want.

How does your pricing compare to others in the industry?

I have extremely competitive pricing and offer different packages based on a client’s needs. I may also come in lower because if I can film a job solo it saves clients the cost of labor. With my television background, I learned how to strategically place equipment in a space to eliminate the need for an assistant. This works most of the time but varies by situation.

What else differentiates you from your competitors?

Many other videographers charge hourly rates, but I charge a set price and work until my clients are completely satisfied. My goal is complete client satisfaction regardless of the nature of the job. I take pride in every video production.

Is there anything new you are offering?

Many people have been going through family albums during the pandemic and I have been creating mini home movie montages of vacations, birthday parties, dance recitals, and other special moments. These are to reminisce and enjoy while creating more memories together, and isn’t that what this business is really about?
